We are super happy to announce that we created a very limited number of Christmas kits, that are now available in the shop!
You can find them here - Christmas Kit 1
This kit makes;
5 single pages - 1 Double page - 1 Pocket page
Over the next couple of weeks, Gypsy will post all 7 pages you can make with the kit which comes with instructions and cutting plans. Of course you free to add your own touches and embellishments to make them your own along the way or just to use materials in the kit however you please.
Have fun
Donna
Hello Gypsy here, I recently had the chance to work with the October Afternoon Silent Night range to create a limited Christmas Kit for Mystical.
The kit is a limited collection - there won't be many in the store! It has the products and instructions to make one double and 5 single 12x12 scrapbook layouts and one double sided 12x12 pocket page. You could use the kit to scrapbook this coming Christmas - or as a quick and easy way to catch up some pages from Christmas past. It is fantastic value.
Over the next few days I'll be sharing the pages from the kit here on the blog and on the last day I have a hand lettering tutorial as a little bonus. Even if you don't get to buy the kit- make sure you come and get some ideas for scrapbooking your Christmas stories over the coming week.
I put all my Christmas pages in the same album each year and divide the years with a title page. I scrapped my 2014 and 2015 Christmas photos with the kit- and used some of the extra bits to make my title pages (not included as part of the kit).

Title pages can be a great spot to use your favourite Patterned Paper sheets... you know the ones with the designs so lovely they are hard to cover up. I love the retro look of the bauble paper above- so it's great to have it as a feature of my page.

DebiJ created this beautiful page which she shared in out gallery recently. I love the unconventional photo- of a sweet moment shared between a couple. We don't often take photos from behind- but I think this one conveys the love of the occasion of marriage in such a lovely way.
The colours Debi has chosen are lovely and soft and really help to give the photo centre stage- the embellishing is a bit bolder- in keeping with the photo but minimal enough it doesn't take the focus. Using a 'project life' style card for the title is a great idea too!
Thanks for sharing this moment and this page in our Mystical Gallery Debi!

DT Share: Mud Pies
A fun double pager from me this week about my sons adventures at Educated by Nature's Mud Pies group on the Swan River here in Perth.
I love the way the Kraft cardstock provides a nice neutral base for the busy and varied photos.
The Lime green KaiserMist still looks vibrant and bright on the kraft too.
Repetitive stamping is a nice simple way to add details here and there. I have used Tim Holtz Distress Ink all in the same colour but with different phrases.
Supplies Used: Kraft Cardstock Chestnut, Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day Patterned Paper: Outstanding, and Reminder. Fancy Pants What a wonderful day: Ephemera and Fundamentals Stickers, Alpha: Fabric Thickers, Washi tape: Hambly set 2 and set 4 and WRMK Aqua, KaiserMist: Lime Green.

Just a quick share from me today... I've used Kaisermists to colour the wood veneer rose on this page. It is quick and easy to paint on with a brush and has a gorgeous delicate sparkle to it.
Supplies used: Bazzill Cardstock French Vanilla, October Afternoon Sidewalks Patterned Paper, Hambly Washi Tape, Cocoa Vanilla Love Always Wood Veneer Shapes, KaiserMists, Kaiser Rhinestones- Red, and Kaiser Resin Blossoms.

I love pages that do something unexpected and I think this one from Kikyee in our gallery fits that description perfectly. Not your traditional Wedding LO but completely lovely! I love that she used the paper with the addition or plus signs on it to represent the idea of two people coming together. The border sticker is a lovely touch, as is the inked edges... small details like this often make all the difference to a page feeling really finished. A great take on the sketch from September's Cyber Crop and a beautiful page for a beautiful day! Thanks for sharing Kikyee.

November Challenge
Our first challenge for November is a Halloween inspired mood board ... Your layout doesn't need to be a halloween layout, and let us all know what inspired you!
I will be woking on finishing off my take this afternoon....
I've been inspired to use, Paint Splaters, a banner and a stencil (inspired by the pumkin carving!)
Remember that you need to upload your layout into the Mystical Scrapbooks Gallery , or via linkup, by the end of October for your chance to win a prize.
And this month prize is a Flourish and Bling pack
Happy scrapping and I look forward to see what you come up with.
Donna
