Stripes- Echo Park Under the Sea

 One paper six ways... Lately I've made a bunch of pages from the Echo Park Under the Sea Range. I've pulled these pages to share with you to show how I have used the Swimmingly Stripe paper on a number of different pages.

Equal sized strips of the stripes on this page help to show the eye where the page starts and finishes- and give it some balance. Stamps from my stash- stamped with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink.

 

The stripe paper serves as a 'shelf ' for my photos- one of  my go to designs. Stickers from my stash and title Chipboard Thickers.

 

I think papers like these with the basic primary and secondary colours work really well with school themed layouts. I've used a thin stripe at the top and a thicker one down the bottom. The heavier strip at the bottom helps to anchor the page. I think the paper looks quite different with a patterned paper background.

Kaisercraft Open Road

 Hi all,

Gypsy here stopping in with some Layouts from the Kaisercraft range Open Road. I have to be honest I wasn't 100% sure I was going to like this line until I saw it in person. Once I did though I was totally sold. I definitely think this has a lot more uses beyond the travel that it was designed with in mind. I'm thinking LO's about bush walks, gardening, living in Australia, heritage, outdoor play, Four-Wheel driving, Zoo visits and Picnics. The natural colours in the line are just lovely, and the flowers are so pretty. I hope you'll get a chance to play with this line and come share it in the Mystical Gallery or Facebook chat.

 

 

Fabulous Colour

Hi all, I've used the B side of this Cocoa Vanilla Paper from the Free Spirit Line this week. I used markers to draw in my colour stripes and then I have highlighted them with some Nuvo Glitter drops that I just smeared on with my fingers.

I've finished the page with some WRMK Washi Tapes, Cocoa Vanilla Wood Veneers, Enamels, and Flairs and some stickers from my stash. The 'Fabulous' title comes from this very cool Kaisercraft Script Words sticker sheet. I love the size of these words- perfect for titles!
