New collection - Just In

I'm always on the lookout for Australia paper ranges, I love the chance to support Australian designers, so I'm supper please to share that I've added Colour Blast  paper collection to our range.  And I'm hoping to add some of there gorgeous mixed media items soon too!

Little bit of mixed media

Mixed media is big right now, but sometimes it's nice to dial it back and keep it simple.  I scrap to showcase my photos and tell the story of us.

For this page I've used Dusty Attic stencil Bubbles.  Find it here  ( Out of  stock at the moment, back in stock soon)

Kaisercraft paints - here   Cheap and cheerful, wonderful range of colours available

Impasto - here  Impasto is a wonderful thick texture paste

To create this effect with different colours, I taped the stencil down with washi tape each time, allowing it to dry completely in between each colours. 

I've added Cocoa Vanilla stickers and embellishments, along with Green Tara Wild Rose flower and Dusty Attic Chipboard Hashtag Saying.

March Cyber Crop: It's about Geometry!

Our theme for this months Cyber Crop is Geometry... shapes and lines and points and space... it's time to get your math on!

Challenge 1: Sketch: Round your layout out with circles...

Supplies used: Cardstock: Swiss Dots, White, Blue. Patterned Paper: Blue, Green. Stickers here and here, Alpha.


Challenge 2: Inspiration Board. Get inspired by these shapes and lines and angles... pick from as little or as much as you like. (Click on the image to see it larger.)

Inspired by the rainbow rays on the left hand side I decided to follow the lines of the equipment Tama was climbing on.
Supplies used: Cardstock: Kraft. Patterned Paper: Yellow, Blue. Enamel shapes, stickers here and here, Alpha.


Challenge 3:  Use 3 Different Shapes

Any 3 you like.. or more if you wish!

Here's my take....

I've used, 1 square, 2 triangles and 1 rectangle to create this 8x8 page for my sister baby album.
Being a small size layout, I've kept the embellishments to a minimum.
Fancy Pants - Family & Co papers   some little word stickers, a wooden heart that I've covered with a scrap of leftover paper,  a little flower from my stash and finished it off with some Nuvo Drops - Neptune
