DT Share: Love and Happiness

  One of the things I love about these lines from Simple Stories and Fancy Pants is their versatility- and that includes a summer day at the lake! I love this photo of my littlest guy at 18 months so I have printed it as a 6x8 and let is be the focus of my page.

  I have combined the SS line Life in Colour and the FP Line Happy place. Papers: SS: Love this life, Teal/yellow, Coral/blue and Vertical Elements. FP: Hello and Good Day. I've teamed them up with some of the SS: Ephemera, Brads and Cardstock Stickers. Finally I added some Hambly Washi Tape.

Donna's Challenge- Gypsy's page

Our monthly challenges go up on the first of each month and you can see the challenges for May right here. Over the weekend I had a go at completing Donna's Tic Tac toe Challenge using the left column of the grid- doily, bling and two washi tapes.

I have sprayed my doily with a number of Kaisermists including Aqua, Blackberry, Peach and Yellow. I've used Washi tape from both the We R Memory Keepers Plum and Purple packs. Lavender Pearls, Aquamarine Rhinestones and Resin Blossoms finish off the embellishing. Pebbles Spring Fling Words and Momento Puffy Thickers for my title.

For this page I've combined the lovely floral vellum from the Cocoa Vanilla Wild at Heart range with the Simple Stories Life in Colour Range- and some super red washi tape from Kaisercraft.

I'm loving the muted colour palette that Dale has chosen for this layout for week 7 of our Scrap Around Australia Competition. I also think there's lots of little details to notice- great idea to use ephemera to help tell the story- especially making the little pocket in the top right hand corner. I love that the misting she's done for the background repeats the shape of the light bulbs in her main photo. It was also a great choice to go for minimal embellishing to ensure her pages didn't get too busy. Great page Dale- thanks so much for sharing it and for playing along in our competition! A single photo layout for me today. I've used a 5x7 for this sweet photo of my son Will holding his younger brothers hand while he sleeps.  

I've been working with the Simple Stories Life in Colour range. The papers I have used here are: Big Memories, and Vertical Elements. I have teamed it up with the Brads and Ephemera. This range compliments well with the Fancy Pants Line: Happy Place. The Red + paper is Hello and the Large letters are also from that range. I've finished the page with the Kaisercraft Polka dot tape.

Donna's Challenge -  Tic - Tac - Toe Challenge

You need to choose one line... in any direction, just needs to be a straight line!

and here is my take... I chose the top line, doily, tag and flowers

I've used Jillibean's  Chit Chat Chowder, papers and alphas and stickers  on Kaisercraft Kraft card, with Green Tara, and Prima flowers and a doily from my stash.
