This Double spot paper from Cocoa Vanilla ~Wild at Heart is so much fun I think it's be great for a celebration type page and would just as well for girls and boys.

DT Share: Happiness Right Here

This month I have been working with the  latest Cocoa Vanilla line in the store. Wild at Heart is lots of delightful florals in luscious pastel and jewel tones. I think it comes across as quite feminine and girly on first look. On closer examination though there is lots in that will work for childhood, party and maybe even some heritage LO's.

I've gone with a fairly simple block design for this LO abour me hanging out with my two younger boys. I've put the photos on the right hand side of the LO so it doesn't look like we're staring off the side of the page... it's a simple technique which makes a surprising difference in helping the page to feel contained.

Supplies: Cocoa Vanilla Wild at Heart: Pattered Papers: Fussy Cuts, Double Dot and Memento. Embellishments: Enamel Dots, Accessory Sticker Sheet, and Flair Buttons.

Gallery PIck

It was the lovely design and unique colour palette of this LO from Kristy (Kikyee) that caught my eye first. Then I took a closer look at the flowers these have been stamped onto patterned paper and hand cut... she has way more patience that I!! The results are stunning I love this page and those flowers are the key!
This was her entry into week three of the competition- we have had so much great work in the gallery from the competition it's worth it to go have a look at them... and leave some love while you're there I think we all enjoy a few compliments now and then.

Thanks for joining in and sharing the results Kristy!

Some more pages from our January Cyber Crop this time from Sharnook.
This top page is  a scraplift from Member Toni M. I love the excitement and movement conveyed by the page... and it would be pretty exciting meeting some super heroes! There's lots of colours in the photos so it was a great choice to only have hints of colour on the page and the little touches of patterned paper are doing a perfect job. The stars are a great extra touch too- always cool to have some stars when you're meeting the stars of the show!

This page is Sharnooks take on the sketch challenge from January- I'm loving the pretty pastel colour scheme she has pulled together- works perfectly with the girly photo and ties in with their clothes as well. I love that she has made the sketch design feel more relaxed and informal and fun! Bonus points for the fussy cutting too!! Beautiful page Sharnook- thanks for sharing!!

What I didn't notice at first is that both these pages use almost the same design... a central block with a diagonal flow from top right to bottom left... and yes they look very different- this is a fantastic example of making use of great design to make awesome pages- it's something that makes life so much easier too... especially when we're tired and scrapping to relax!

March Monochrome Plus CC

Hello everyone and welcome to our March "Monochrome Plus" Cyber Crop!

We have 3 challenges for you, each based on a single colour, and with an additional requirement.

A monochrome layout is based on a single colour, you can use any shade of that colour with a small amount of a neutral colour if needed, (neutral being white, black or kraft.)

Challenge 1 - Pink plus a Sketch

Here's Gypsy's take on this...

I'm loving the new Cocoa Vanilla Line Wild at Heart in the store- so really enjoyed putting this page together. I've combined it with some bits and pieces from the Love Always line as well.

Challenge 2 - Blue plus Mixed Media

This is my take on this, I have used up lots of scraps of blue and my matte transparent texture paste.... which doesn't show up that great in photo's 😡 ...  but in real life it looks great!! ❤

They look like different colours... above was taken outside, below was taken at my scrap desk, and I've edited it a little to show off the texture paste a bit more

Challenge 3  - YOUR choice of colour plus Chipboard

I have always wanted to try an all while layout!!  I've not put a title on this page yet, as I'm still trying to decide on one... I think I might find a quote to use :)

I've embossed and die cut to add texture to the page...

We hope you have fun with these chalenges, you have a full week plus, to scrap these challenges, upload them to our gallery  and be in the winning for a store voucher or a pack of lovely goodies for being the DT pick.

Due date Sunday 26th March - Midnight

And don't forget to stop by our Facebook chat group over the weekend and say Hello to everyone and join in with our Bingo game.  If you are new please just send me a message and I will add you.

Once again I'm working with the delightfully colourful Jillibean Chit Chat Chowder Line and I've mixed it up with some Cocoa Vanilla.

DT Share: Be-You-tiful

This baby girl, my sweet little cousin is 18 months old now and I miss her like crazy- so it was very nice to scrap these photos. The boys loved her to bits as well and absolutely doted on her!

I've really mixed up my supplies on these pages and pulled together a bit of everything- it's fun sometimes to do that... finish off a few last bits and pieces from a sheet or packet and it makes for some economical and interesting pages!

Supplies Used: Bazzill Basics French Vanilla, Jillibean Soup Chit Chat Chowder: Bite sized Bits and Grandma's Lima Bean: Dry Lima Beans and Small Onion and the Soup Labels. Washi Tape: Hambly. Stickers and Embellishments: Simple Stories Life In Colour, Cocoa Vanilla Love Always Puffys, Fancy Pants Happy Place Puffys and What a wonderful day Buttons.

Gallery Pick

I'm beginning to think the new year put a spring in everyone's scrapbooking step because we have so many great projects coming through our Gallery... it makes it hard to choose just one page! Hence I am sharing three this week from Jazikt. The one above is from the February Cyber Crop... I'm loving this large photo and the choice to keep the page simple and give the image centre stage!

This one is from the January CC- the challenge was to scraplift from another of our Mystical Community members- and Jazikt chose a LO by Debi Clark. I have to say I fell in love with this page because of the strong reds, the touch of green and the fantastic combination of papers picked, it's just lovely.

This page is also from the January CC - the sketch challenge and once again it's the colours that pulled me in- it's an almost monochromatic Yellow LO and it works so well... Jazikt really is a master paper picker I think!! It's a great take on the sketch and a great page!

Thank-you so much for your contribution to our galley Jazikt you are an inspiration!

How is this kid's awesome style? :-)

An easy page from me this week using the new Jillibean Chit Chat Chowder range. I love this yellow heart paper I think it's very versatile the hearts are small and subtle so it would work on a lot of LO's about the things you love... like crazy toddlers!
