Acrylic stamps usually come with a very shiny surface- especially the cheaper ones from the bargain type stores. This makes the ink pool and it is hard to get a clear image. The best idea it to give the stamp a very light sanding with some fine to super fine sandpaper. Then wipe it clean with a cloth, baby wipe or stamp cleaner. The easiest way to remember to do this is by doing all the stamps while still on the sheet the day you bring them home.
